All in under a week!
I am willing to try new ideas and modes of learning and teaching; yet I need TIME (more than 30 minutes) to explore and reflect on what I am learning, creating and sharing with the students.
Over the break I was really able to become comfortable with blogging, Pintrest and Blended Space.
I GET IT!

I am thrilled with the challenge and opportunity my district has provided for me to grow as an individual and educator.

So, if you are weary of trying new to you apps; I encourage you to choose one new venture in a learning source for you your learners.

Yes I know Pintrest and Blendedspace are not really new, but they are new to me:)

Yes it is Spring Break so I have time to learn, reflect and grow.
I will be adding and /or changing my board and blended space, but have enjoyed learning new tools to facilitate learning in the classroom at all different levels.  I strongly believe ALL learner need some amount of direct teach.  Yet that differs with each learner.

These tech apps give teacher the tools to differentiate in the classroom.

Measures of Central Tendencies Blended Space

Today was a semi- successful with introducing the "lino" app with the learners.

The learners liked how you could see everyone's comments, the emoji board and how the post it note can be customized. 

It was frustrating for me as the facilitator to get all the learners invited to the group and settled.  But it was a good experience to stretch my comfort level.

Why "memyselfandi' ?

It has been challenging to come up with a name for my classroom blog......
After brainstorm, researching and asking peers I decided to ask the students.
Immediately many said "Me, Myself and I"!
We use this statement in class to remind the learners to use themselves as a resource, to reflect on what they know and how to apply it prior to asking for the answer.
I love the idea!
